Plastic vs Glass Screen Protectors

Do you play video games using your phone? If you do, you can possibly see the dirt, scratches, and marks of your fingerprints after hours of playing. You can eliminate or at least minimize it by ensuring that your smartphones wear screen protectors which can either be plastic or glass. However, the plastic screen protectors have advantages and disadvantages.

1. One of the major disadvantages of a plastic protector is the fact that it reduces the clarity of the screen. This is because it easily shows the scratches that have been permanent. It also makes the fingerprints of the user vivid. These prints are caused by coins or other stuff that is inside your bag where you also put the touchscreen phone.
2. Oleophobic coating or fingerprint-resistant is often seen attached to the protector but it is not that true. These are mere fancy words to make you believe that it is effective in protecting the screen of the phone.
3. If you think that built-in plastic screen protectors are better, you are wrong. There are cases when the HD screen of the device diffuses because of the plastic.
4. Moreover, plastic screens do not offer a hundred percent coverage because there are areas that are not covered because it has no plastic edges.
